But, as you note, he is probably best known for his work in popularizing science. But, that is important work, too! I remember growing up watching <I>Cosmos</I>. I already was interested in science, but that is what really made me want to be a scientist, and it really fired up my interest in astronomy. A whole generation of scientists and engineers say the same thing. We need a Carl Sagan for today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
