I'm at a hotel next to London Heathrow Airport tonight and my third floor window is opposite the midpoint of a busy runway. Just for fun (and in spite of a very simple digital camera) I tried taking some pictures of the jets just as they lifted off, following their motion with the camera. But none of the pictures came out as cool as I had hoped. This one is maybe not too bad. At least you can see that it's an airliner (and British to boot).

Heathrow Impressionism
