We have seen an abundance of amazing astronomical images this year, and Phil Plait of the Bad Astronomy blog has assembled a great top 10 list so I don't have to. The dramatic composite Cassini image of Saturn eclipsing the Sun was his number one, and it's hard to disagree. It's a beautiful image.
