Starfest 2008

The Aldrich Astronomical Society has announced plans for Starfest 2008 (PDF), which will be held Saturday evening, August 9, at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts, a few minutes north of Worcester. There will be telescopes, spacesuits, meteorites, rockets, and various presentations, including my own session, "Robots, Astronauts, and You," which will feature simulated shuttle launches and moon landings, among other things. If you're in the area, bring the family and come check it out - it will be educational, fun, and free.
